Two ways to erase your data

Aely keeps your data on your phone, and on our servers only if you use an account. Pick the option that matches what you want to remove.

Erase this phone only

In the app, go to You → Privacy & data → Reset all data.

This erases everything Aely stores on this phone: cycles, logs, notes, tests, pregnancy tracking, streaks, reminders and profile. It does not touch data backed up to your account. Use it if you never created an account, or if you want to keep your backup.

Delete your account and everything on our servers

In the app, go to You → Profile → Delete account, then follow the confirmation steps. You may be asked to sign in again with Apple or Google.

This permanently erases:

• your account;
• your cloud backup: cycles, logs, notes, tests, pregnancy tracking, streaks, reminders and profile;
• your Partner Mode link, the shared summary and your partner’s view;
• pending invitations and notification tokens;
• your subscription status and your RevenueCat customer record;
• then all Aely data on this phone.

Deletion cannot be undone and nothing can be recovered afterwards.

Before you delete

• Keep a copy: export your history first with You → Privacy & data → Export as PDF (Aely+). You won’t be able to afterwards.
• Cancel your subscription: deleting your account does not stop Aely+ billing. Cancel it in your App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.

Turning off backup is not deleting

Turning off backup in You → Privacy & data stops any new upload, but keeps the copy already stored on your account. To erase it, delete your account or write to us.

If you are someone’s partner

To stop seeing a shared view, open Aely and choose Leave Partner Mode. If you joined without a full account, your anonymous account is deleted automatically after 180 days without use.

No access to the app or your account?

If you no longer have your phone or can’t sign in, email privacy@aelycycle.app from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. If you used Apple’s Hide My Email, send it from the email address of your Apple Account and tell us so. We may ask a few questions to confirm the account is yours.

We handle requests within one month.

How long it takes

Deletion from the app is immediate: your data is erased from our database as soon as you confirm. Copies may remain for a limited time in the encrypted backups of our hosting providers before they are overwritten. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases under their policies.
